Description

A simple yet flavorful chicken dish, perfect for busy weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup of your favorite sauce (teriyaki, barbecue, or a homemade blend)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large, oven-safe skillet over medium heat.
  3. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  4. Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and sear for about 5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. Pour your sauce over the chicken, ensuring an even coat.
  6. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  7. Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh herbs if desired, and serve warm.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken ahead of time. If using frozen chicken breasts, increase cooking time accordingly.
