Description

A delightful dessert that combines rich chocolate flavor with sweet caramel and crunchy toffee bits, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 cup toffee bits
  • 1 cup chocolate frosting

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix melted butter, eggs, milk, and vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  5. Fold in 1/2 cup of caramel sauce and 1/2 cup of toffee bits.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Allow to cool completely in the pan.
  8. Once cooled, spread chocolate frosting over the top of the cake.
  9. Drizzle the remaining caramel sauce and sprinkle the remaining toffee bits on top.
  10. Slice and serve to enjoy.

Notes

Serve with vanilla ice cream and a drizzle of caramel for an extra treat. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
