- ½ cup cocoa powder
- ½ cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
- ½ cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Prepare the Dough: In a mixing bowl, combine the warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5 to 10 minutes until frothy.
- Mix in the softened butter, eggs, vanilla, and salt. Gradually add flour until a soft dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes.
- Rise: Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it, and let it rise in a warm area for about an hour or until doubled in size.
- Filling: Mix the cocoa powder, brown sugar, and ground cinnamon in a bowl. Roll out the dough and spread this filling evenly.
- Add the chocolate chips over the filling before rolling it up tightly.
- Shape Rolls: Cut the rolled dough into slices and place them in a greased baking dish.
- Second Rise: Cover the dish and let the rolls rise again for about 30 minutes.
- Bake: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 20-25 minutes.
- Serve Warm: Once baked, let them cool slightly before serving.
