Description

Delightful crispy salmon bites coated in a flavorful bang bang sauce, perfect for appetizers or weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb salmon fillets, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • Oil for frying
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 23 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha (adjust to taste)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In one bowl, add cornstarch; in another, beaten eggs; and in a third bowl, place breadcrumbs.
  2. Season the salmon pieces with salt and pepper, then dredge each piece in cornstarch, dip in beaten eggs, and then coat with breadcrumbs.
  3. Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat.
  4. Fry the salmon bites until golden and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and sriracha to make the bang bang sauce.
  6. Toss the fried salmon bites in the sauce or serve it on the side.
  7. Serve with rice, salad, or as an appetizer.

Notes

Pat the salmon dry before cooking for better crispiness. Ensure oil is hot enough to prevent greasiness.
