- 1 lb salmon fillets, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- Oil for frying
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2–3 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
- 1 tablespoon sriracha (adjust to taste)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In one bowl, add cornstarch; in another, beaten eggs; and in a third bowl, place breadcrumbs.
- Season the salmon pieces with salt and pepper, then dredge each piece in cornstarch, dip in beaten eggs, and then coat with breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat.
- Fry the salmon bites until golden and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- In a separate bowl, mix mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and sriracha to make the bang bang sauce.
- Toss the fried salmon bites in the sauce or serve it on the side.
- Serve with rice, salad, or as an appetizer.
Notes
Pat the salmon dry before cooking for better crispiness. Ensure oil is hot enough to prevent greasiness.
