Instructions

- Add the eggs, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla to the dry ingredients. Mix until smooth.
- Carefully stir in the boiling water until well combined. The batter will be thin.
- Pour equal amounts of batter into the prepared pans.
- Bake for about 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let the cakes cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then turn them out onto wire racks to cool completely.
