Description

Delicious, fudgy brownies that are rich in chocolate flavor and perfect for any gathering.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
  3. Mix the flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt in another bowl. Gradually stir into the butter mixture until combined. Add chocolate chips if desired.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared dish and spread evenly.
  5. Bake for about 25 to 30 minutes. They are done when a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs. Don’t overbake for that perfect fudgy texture!

Notes

Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or drizzled with chocolate syrup. Cut into squares and enjoy with coffee or tea.
