Instructions
- Make the Caramel: Melt butter and brown sugar in a saucepan over medium heat. Whisk in cream and cook until slightly thickened. Stir in flaky salt and set aside to cool slightly.
- Prepare the Dough: Whisk dry ingredients in a bowl. Beat butter and sugars until fluffy. Mix in egg and vanilla.
- Combine and Swirl: Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients until dough forms. Gently fold caramel into dough, creating ribbons.
- Bake: Scoop dough onto parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake at 350°F for 12–14 minutes. Sprinkle with flaky sea salt while warm.
