Description

Delightful raspberry cream cheese cruffins featuring soft, flaky layers and a tangy-sweet raspberry filling.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups All-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons Active dry yeast
  • 1/4 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Whole milk
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups Fresh raspberries
  • 8 ounces Cream cheese
  • 1 cup Powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Combine the flour, yeast, sugar, and salt in a large bowl.
  2. Warm the milk slightly, then add it along with the melted butter to the dry ingredients. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until smooth. Let it rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  4. Roll out the dough into a large rectangle, then spread a layer of cream cheese and scatter the raspberries on top.
  5. Roll the dough tightly and slice it into pieces. Place the slices in muffin tins and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
  6. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake the cruffins for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Sprinkle them with powdered sugar for that extra touch!
