- 1 box lemon cake mix
- 1 (21-ounce) can lemon pie filling
- 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened and cubed
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Spread the lemon pie filling evenly in the prepared dish.
- Blend the softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla in a mixing bowl until smooth. Spoon this mixture over the lemon filling.
- Sprinkle the dry lemon cake mix evenly over the top.
- Pour the melted butter over the cake mix without stirring it in for texture!
- Bake for 40–45 minutes, or until the cake is golden and bubbly. Let it cool before serving.
Notes
Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream for a special touch. Garnish with powdered sugar or lemon zest.
