Ingredients

  • 1 box lemon cake mix
  • 1 (21-ounce) can lemon pie filling
  • 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened and cubed
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Spread the lemon pie filling evenly in the prepared dish.
  3. Blend the softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla in a mixing bowl until smooth. Spoon this mixture over the lemon filling.
  4. Sprinkle the dry lemon cake mix evenly over the top.
  5. Pour the melted butter over the cake mix without stirring it in for texture!
  6. Bake for 40–45 minutes, or until the cake is golden and bubbly. Let it cool before serving.
