Description

A delightful pastry filled with cream cheese and fresh berries, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • Puff pastry – 1 package (thawed)
  • Cream cheese – 8 oz (softened)
  • Powdered sugar – ½ cup
  • Vanilla extract – 1 tsp
  • Fresh berries – 1 cup (strawberries, blueberries, or raspberries)
  • Egg – 1 (beaten, for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut it into squares.
  3. Combine softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl until smooth.
  4. Spoon a small amount of the cream cheese mixture onto each pastry square.
  5. Top with fresh berries and fold the corners of the pastry over the filling to create a pin shape.
  6. Brush the tops with the beaten egg for that golden finish.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes or until puffed and golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

You can experiment with different fruit fillings or use chocolate chips for a variation.
