A stunning dessert combining chocolate cake, fresh strawberries, and silky chocolate ganache, perfect for special occasions.

- 1 chocolate cake mix (plus ingredients specified on the box)
- 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1 cup chocolate ganache (made with dark chocolate and heavy cream)
- 1 cup whipped cream
- Fresh strawberries for decoration
Instructions
- Prepare the chocolate cake mix according to the package instructions and bake in a round cake pan. Allow to cool completely.
- Once cooled, slice the cake into three even layers.
- Place the first layer on a serving platter. Spread a layer of whipped cream on top, followed by a layer of sliced strawberries.
- Repeat with the second layer of cake, more whipped cream, and additional strawberries. Top with the third layer of cake.
- Pour the chocolate ganache over the top of the cake, allowing it to drip down the sides.
- Decorate the top with additional fresh strawberries.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Notes
Use ripe, fresh strawberries for the best flavor. Don’t skip the chilling step for easier slicing.
