- 1 cup dark chocolate, chopped
- 1/2 cup milk chocolate, chopped
- 1/2 cup white chocolate, chopped
- 3 cups heavy cream
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 6 large eggs, separated
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Melt the dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl over simmering water. Let it cool.
- Whip 1 cup of heavy cream in another bowl until soft peaks form. Fold this into the cooled dark chocolate.
- Beat the egg whites with salt in a separate bowl until stiff peaks form. Gently fold these into the chocolate mixture.
- Pour the combined mixture into a lined cake pan and chill.
- Repeat the same process with the milk chocolate, then with the white chocolate, layering them in the same pan.
- Chill all layers for at least 240 minutes until set.
- Remove from the pan and garnish with additional whipped cream or chocolate shavings for that extra touch!
