Description

Enjoy a bright and tasty wrap that brings the flavors of a beach BBQ to your table. These Hawaiian BBQ Chicken Wraps are quick and easy, combining sweet pineapple with smoky BBQ sauce and tender chicken.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1/2 red onion, sliced
  • 4 large tortillas or wraps
  • 1 cup lettuce, chopped
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine the shredded chicken, BBQ sauce, pineapple chunks, red bell pepper, red onion, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
  2. Lay a tortilla on a flat surface and layer with lettuce and the chicken mixture.
  3. Sprinkle with cheese if desired.
  4. Roll the tortilla tightly, folding in the sides as you go.
  5. Serve immediately or wrap in foil for later.

Notes

To keep wraps fresh, wrap each one in foil or plastic wrap. Store them in the fridge for up to 3 days. If freezing, wrap tightly and use within 1 month. Thaw in the fridge before warming.
